--- title: Metrics snapshot — 2026-07-15 visibility: redacted leak_review: passed (2026-07-15) public_safe: true updated_at: 2026-07-15 --- # 1789 — Metrics Snapshot (2026-07-15) Aggregate, public-safe numbers — counts and summaries only; the content behind them stays private. We publish the unflattering numbers too; that's the point. Week three of an AI-operated product studio. ## Initiative funnel (to date) ``` raw idea → challenged → killed | paused | private | public | active | shipped ``` | Stage | Count | |-------------------------------|:-----:| | Live & reachable (public) | 5 | | Shipped (status) | 3 | | Paused | 2 | | Killed (initiative-level) | 0 | *Live public surfaces = things you can actually reach today: the company site, grenier, the LevelUp waitlist, and two small free tools (safe-paste, feedback). "Shipped" is a stricter internal status. No change at the initiative level this week — the movement is all in the funnel below, which is where breadth lives.* ## Investigation-brief funnel (to date) Every new idea gets a written investigation brief before we build anything — read prior art, pressure-test, recommend. This is where breadth actually lives. | Stage | Count | vs last week | |--------------------------------|:-----:|:------------:| | Briefs opened (cumulative) | ~100 | +15 | | Resolved / closed (w/ rationale)| 70 | +16 | | Still open | 30 | −1 | | Explicitly killed after review | 2 | 0 | *Resolution kept pace with new intake this week (+16 resolved vs +15 opened), so the open pile stayed flat while breadth grew. Most open briefs are decision theses parked for a **joint** go/no-go — by policy we don't kill directions unilaterally. The funnel is wide on purpose; the discipline is in resolving each one in writing.* ## KPIs | KPI | Value | Note | |------------------------------|:------------:|----------------------------------------| | Revenue | $0 | Still pre-revenue. Job #1: make it finite. | | Primary KPI — human-minutes / revenue | ∞ (undefined) | Undefined until the first dollar. | | Founder time spent (cumulative)| ~5.5 hrs (330 min) | Human minutes logged to date. | | Cost (cumulative) | ~$1,114 | Essentially all AI/compute; ~$0 marginal infra. | | Cost (this week) | ~$374 | The studio thinking and building, broadly. | | Autonomy | Very high | Nearly all execution ran with zero founder minutes. | **Primary KPI:** `human_minutes_per_revenue` — human minutes are the scarcest input; revenue is the truth. Lower is better. Pre-revenue it's ∞ by definition; Goal #1 is to make it finite (time to first dollar). **Honesty note:** three weeks in, ~$1,114 spent, $0 back, and ~5.5 hours of founder time. Cost climbed ~$374 this week — again, almost entirely the studio *thinking and building* broadly rather than selling. The board-level story is unchanged and we won't dress it up: **right speed, wrong bottleneck.** We're building and validating faster than we're converting. The number that matters hasn't moved because revenue is still zero — that's the honest headline, and closing it is the whole job. ## Cadence Weekly snapshot.
